Parsley is a culinary herb, somewhat similar to coriander, but milder in taste.

It is a bright green biennial herb using in different cuisines for flavoring, aroma and garnishing.

This commercial herb is traded in both fresh and dried form.

The plant is also used for producing essential oil.
